A quick and comforting dish featuring eggs baked in a toasted bread well, topped with melted cheese. Perfect for weeknights and breakfast.

- 2 slices of thick bread (sourdough or sandwich bread)
- 2 eggs
- ½ cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, etc.)
- 1 tablespoon butter (optional)
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Optional: fresh parsley or chives
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Lightly butter one side of each slice of bread.
- Press a well into the center of each slice.
- Crack one egg into each bread slice.
- Sprinkle shredded cheese around the edges or over the egg whites.
- Air fry for 6–8 minutes, or until the egg whites are set and the cheese is melted.
- Season with salt, pepper, and fresh herbs if desired. Serve hot.
