Delicious and easy Bang Bang Salmon Bites featuring crispy salmon coated in a spicy, creamy sauce. Perfect for a quick dinner or as a party appetizer.

- 1 lb fresh salmon (skinless and cut into bite-sized cubes)
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1 tbsp olive oil or spray for crisping
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp sweet chili sauce
- 1 tbsp sriracha (adjust to spice level)
- 1 tsp honey (optional)
- Juice of ½ lime
- 2 cups cooked jasmine rice (or cauliflower rice)
- 1 cup shredded purple cabbage
- 1 avocado (sliced)
- ½ cup shredded carrots
- 2 green onions (sliced)
- Fresh cilantro and sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) or set your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, combine garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Toss the salmon cubes in this mixture until well coated.
- Place the panko breadcrumbs on a plate. Roll each salmon cube in the breadcrumbs until fully coated. Drizzle olive oil over the top or spray with cooking spray for crispiness.
- Place the salmon bites on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or in the air fryer basket. Bake for about 12-15 minutes or air-fry for about 10-12 minutes until golden brown and flaky.
- In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, honey (if using), and lime juice until smooth to make the Bang Bang sauce.
- In serving bowls, place jasmine rice (or cauliflower rice) as the base. Add the crispy salmon bites on top, followed by shredded cabbage, avocado slices, shredded carrots, and green onions. Drizzle with Bang Bang sauce and sprinkle with cilantro and sesame seeds.
Notes
For extra crunch, consider double coating the salmon bites with breadcrumbs. Adjust seasoning and spice level to personal preference.
