Ingredients
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup unsalted butter
2 cups granulated sugar
4 eggs
1 tbsp vanilla extract
1 cup whole milk
Pink food coloring
Edible flowers or piped buttercream roses
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F and grease cake pans.
2. Cream butter and sugar until fluffy.
3. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well.
4. Stir in vanilla and food coloring.
5. Add dry ingredients alternately with milk.
6. Divide into pans and bake for 30–35 minutes.
7. Cool completely before frosting.
8. Decorate with florals or piped roses.
Notes
You can substitute pink coloring with lavender or peach.
For a rose theme birthday cake, add rosewater to the frosting.
