Bruschetta Dip brings together the best of fresh flavors in a simple and inviting way. Whether you’re having a cozy night in or hosting friends for a gathering, this dip is the perfect starter. It’s filled with tempting ingredients that remind us of summer gardens, and it just takes a few minutes to whip up. This recipe speaks to my love for easy, delicious, and comforting food. Plus, it offers a chance to share warmth and laughter with loved ones.
Ingredients
- 1 6.5 oz Alouette Cheese with herbs (or other soft cheese spread like Boursin)
- ½ cup tomatoes, chopped
- ¼ cup fresh basil, chopped
- 2 tablespoons balsamic vinaigrette glaze or reduction
- Pita chips, crackers, or thinly sliced baguette
Instructions
- Start by spreading the soft cheese evenly over the center of a large plate or small platter, leaving about 1/4 inch around the edge clean.
- Next, sprinkle the chopped tomatoes evenly over the cheese, followed by the fresh basil.
- Drizzle the balsamic glaze back and forth over the whole plate. A little goes a long way!
- Serve with pita chips, crackers, or spread on thin slices of baguette for a delightful treat.
Notes
For an extra kick, mix in some finely minced garlic with the tomatoes. Use a mix of different tomatoes for added color and texture cherry or heirloom varieties are great choices. Don’t skimp on the fresh basil; it gives the dip a delightful aroma and flavor. Customize by adding diced olives, artichokes, or even a sprinkle of red pepper flakes for a spicy twist.
