Description

A delightful blend of apple pie and cheesecake in bar form, topped with a swirl of caramel.


Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 (8-ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 cups diced apples
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. Fold in the diced apples and cinnamon. Pour the cheesecake mixture over the crust in the baking dish.
  5. Drizzle caramel sauce over the top and swirl it gently with a knife to create a marbled effect.
  6. Bake for 40-45 minutes or until the center is set.
  7. Allow to cool before slicing into bars.
  8. Serve chilled or at room temperature, drizzled with additional caramel sauce if desired.

Notes

For a gluten-free version, replace graham cracker crumbs with gluten-free options.
