Description

A quick and comforting recipe featuring melty cheddar and tender chicken wrapped in a warm tortilla, perfect for family meals.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken (shredded)
  • 1/2 cup garlic aioli
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese (shredded)
  • 4 large tortillas
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Warm the chicken and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat a large nonstick skillet over medium heat, toasting each tortilla for 10 seconds per side.
  3. Spread about 2 tablespoons of garlic aioli across the center of each tortilla.
  4. Add a heaping half cup of the shredded chicken and top with a quarter cup of shredded cheddar.
  5. Place the filled tortilla in the hot skillet, pressing gently with a spatula, and cook for 1 to 2 minutes until the cheese begins to melt and the underside is golden.
  6. Fold or roll the wrap and flip to brown the other side for about 1 minute.
  7. Transfer each wrap to a cutting board, let it rest for 1 minute, then slice and serve.

Notes

For added flavor, top with fresh herbs like parsley or chives. Substitute whole grain tortillas for a lighter option.
