- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or Mexican blend)
- 1 tube refrigerated pizza dough or crescent roll dough
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salsa, guacamole, or sour cream for dipping
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook ground beef in a skillet until browned. Drain excess grease.
- Stir in taco seasoning and a splash of water. Simmer until thickened.
- Roll out pizza dough and cut into rectangles.
- Place a spoonful of taco meat and shredded cheese in the center of each rectangle.
- Roll tightly into sticks and pinch edges to seal.
- Place on baking sheet, seam side down. Brush tops with melted butter and sprinkle with garlic powder.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes, until golden brown.
- Serve warm with salsa, guacamole, or sour cream.
Notes
For best texture, don’t overfill and be sure to seal the edges. Use crescent dough for a flakier bite. Add jalapeños for extra heat if desired.
