Description

These Cheesy Taco Sticks combine bold taco flavor, gooey melted cheese, and a golden, flaky crust. Quick to make, fun to eat, and perfect for parties, snacks, or family dinners. Kid-approved and totally irresistible!


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or Mexican blend)
  • 1 tube refrigerated pizza dough or crescent roll dough
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salsa, guacamole, or sour cream for dipping

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook ground beef in a skillet until browned. Drain excess grease.
  3. Stir in taco seasoning and a splash of water. Simmer until thickened.
  4. Roll out pizza dough and cut into rectangles.
  5. Place a spoonful of taco meat and shredded cheese in the center of each rectangle.
  6. Roll tightly into sticks and pinch edges to seal.
  7. Place on baking sheet, seam side down. Brush tops with melted butter and sprinkle with garlic powder.
  8. Bake for 12–15 minutes, until golden brown.
  9. Serve warm with salsa, guacamole, or sour cream.

Notes

For best texture, don’t overfill and be sure to seal the edges. Use crescent dough for a flakier bite. Add jalapeños for extra heat if desired.
