Description

Delightful chewy cookies infused with cranberries and orange zest, perfect for festive occasions.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup dried cranberries
  • 1 cup orange zest

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter, sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, and stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to the creamed mixture.
  5. Fold in the dried cranberries and orange zest.
  6. Drop by rounded tablespoons onto ungreased baking sheets.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are golden.
  8. Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
