Description

A simple and delicious Chocolate Oreo Cheesecake with a sturdy cookie crust and creamy chocolate filling, perfect for family gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 250g Oreo cookies
  • 100g melted butter
  • 400g cream cheese
  • 100g powdered sugar
  • 200ml heavy cream
  • 100g melted chocolate
  • Additional Oreo cookies for topping

Instructions

  1. Crumble the Oreo cookies and mix them with the melted butter.
  2. Press the crumbs into a springform pan to form a firm base.
  3. Use the bottom of a glass to press evenly for a neat edge.
  4. Let it chill a few minutes while you prepare the filling.
  5. Beat the cream cheese and powdered sugar together until smooth.
  6. Add the melted chocolate and mix well.
  7. Whip the heavy cream to stiff peaks and fold it into the cream cheese mixture.
  8. Pour the mixture over the base in the springform pan.
  9. Smooth the top with a spatula and tap the pan on the counter.
  10. Chill the cheesecake for at least 4 hours in the refrigerator.
  11. Garnish with extra Oreo cookies before serving.

Notes

For a firmer slice, freeze the cheesecake for 30 minutes before slicing. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days.
