- 250g Oreo cookies
- 100g melted butter
- 400g cream cheese
- 100g powdered sugar
- 200ml heavy cream
- 100g melted chocolate
- Additional Oreo cookies for topping
Instructions
- Crumble the Oreo cookies and mix them with the melted butter.
- Press the crumbs into a springform pan to form a firm base.
- Use the bottom of a glass to press evenly for a neat edge.
- Let it chill a few minutes while you prepare the filling.
- Beat the cream cheese and powdered sugar together until smooth.
- Add the melted chocolate and mix well.
- Whip the heavy cream to stiff peaks and fold it into the cream cheese mixture.
- Pour the mixture over the base in the springform pan.
- Smooth the top with a spatula and tap the pan on the counter.
- Chill the cheesecake for at least 4 hours in the refrigerator.
- Garnish with extra Oreo cookies before serving.
Notes
For a firmer slice, freeze the cheesecake for 30 minutes before slicing. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days.
