A delightful blend of cinnamon rolls and banana bread that brings warmth and joy to family gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar (for cinnamon swirl)
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)
  • 12 tablespoons milk (for glaze)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  2. Mix Wet Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine the mashed bananas, granulated sugar, brown sugar, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract until well blended.
  3. Add Dry Ingredients: Sprinkle the baking soda and salt over the mixture, then add the flour and stir gently until just combined.
  4. Prepare Cinnamon Sugar: In a small bowl, mix the granulated sugar and cinnamon.
  5. Layer the Batter: Pour half of the batter into the loaf pan and sprinkle half of the cinnamon sugar mixture on top.
  6. Add Remaining Batter: Pour the remaining batter over the cinnamon sugar layer and sprinkle the top with remaining cinnamon sugar.
  7. Swirl the Mixture: Using a knife, gently swirl the batter to create a marbled effect.
  8. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Cool in the pan for 10-15 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  10. Prepare the Glaze: Mix powdered sugar with milk until smooth for drizzling.
  11. Glaze the Bread after it cools completely.
