Description

Cozy and quick bites that combine the flavors of cinnamon rolls and French toast, perfect for family breakfasts.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package of cinnamon rolls
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Butter or cooking spray for the pan
  • Maple syrup or other toppings

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven according to the cinnamon roll package instructions.
  2. Open the cinnamon rolls and cut each roll into quarters.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon until smooth.
  4. Dip each piece of cinnamon roll into the egg mixture, coating well and letting excess drip off.
  5. Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat and add butter or cooking spray.
  6. Place the coated pieces onto the skillet and cook until golden brown on all sides, about 2-3 minutes.
  7. Transfer the cooked bites to a serving plate. If icing came with the cinnamon rolls, warm it and drizzle over the bites.
  8. Serve warm with maple syrup or favorite toppings.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days or frozen for up to 1 month. Reheat in the oven for best texture.
