Description
A quick and easy cinnamon-sugar treat using crescent roll dough that bakes into a warm, flaky pastry.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tablespoon milk
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking sheet or pizza pan.
- Unroll the crescent roll dough onto the prepared baking sheet. Press the seams together gently to create a solid sheet of dough, forming a round or rectangular shape.
- In a small bowl, mix together the granulated sugar and ground cinnamon.
- Brush the melted butter evenly over the crescent roll dough, then sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture generously over the top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the dough is cooked through. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth. Adjust the consistency as needed.
- Drizzle the vanilla glaze over the warm cinnamon-sugar pizza. Slice and serve while warm for the best texture and flavor. Enjoy!
Notes
Press seams well to prevent butter and sugar leakage. Use fresh ground cinnamon for better flavor.
