Description

A delightful and comforting banana bread with a swirl of cinnamon and brown sugar, perfect for any time of the day.


Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, mix the mashed bananas and melted butter.
  3. Stir in the sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla.
  4. Mix in the baking soda and salt.
  5. Add the flour and mix until just combined.
  6. In a separate bowl, mix the cinnamon and brown sugar.
  7. Pour half of the banana batter into the loaf pan, sprinkle half of the cinnamon sugar mixture, and layer with the remaining batter.
  8. Swirl with a knife for a marble effect.
  9. Sprinkle the remaining cinnamon sugar on top.
  10. Bake for 60-65 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  11. Let cool before slicing.

Notes

Use super ripe bananas for the best flavor. Don’t overmix the batter for a fluffy texture.
