Ingredients

- 3 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1/3 cup melted butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- Pinch of salt
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
- In a mixing bowl, mix the mashed bananas and melted butter.
- Stir in the sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla.
- Mix in the baking soda and salt.
- Add the flour and mix until just combined.
- In a separate bowl, mix the cinnamon and brown sugar.
- Pour half of the banana batter into the loaf pan, sprinkle half of the cinnamon sugar mixture, and layer with the remaining batter.
- Swirl with a knife for a marble effect.
- Sprinkle the remaining cinnamon sugar on top.
- Bake for 60-65 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool before slicing.
Notes
Use super ripe bananas for the best flavor. Don’t overmix the batter for a fluffy texture.
