- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup sour cream
- 4 large eggs
- 1 tbsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp salt
Cinnamon Swirl Layer
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 2 tbsp ground cinnamon
Optional Glaze
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2–3 tbsp milk
- ½ tsp vanilla
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 10–12 cup Bundt pan.
- In a large bowl, cream together butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla and sour cream.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients, mixing just until combined.
- In a small bowl, stir together brown sugar and cinnamon for the swirl.
- Pour half of the batter into the Bundt pan, sprinkle with cinnamon sugar mixture, and top with the remaining batter.
- Use a knife to gently swirl the layers together.
- Bake for 50–60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Drizzle with optional glaze once the cake is fully cooled.
Notes
Make sure to grease and flour your Bundt pan thoroughly to prevent sticking. Use room temperature butter and eggs for the best texture.
