Description

A delightful and creamy Cold Spinach Dip that brings family together, perfect for gatherings and parties.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped
  • 1 cup water chestnuts, chopped
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 packet vegetable soup mix
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped

Instructions

  1. Press the spinach until very dry.
  2. Mix together the spinach, water chestnuts, sour cream, mayonnaise, vegetable soup mix, and chopped green onions in a bowl.
  3. Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for at least 60 minutes.
  4. Serve in a bowl with crackers, pretzels, or toasted baguette slices.

Notes

You can use fresh spinach or substitute water chestnuts with celery. This dip can be made a day ahead for better flavor.
