Description

Deliciously sweet and cozy Cinnamon Sugar Blondies that are easy to make and perfect for sharing.


Ingredients

  • 1 large egg
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup light brown sugar, packed
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon, divided
  • 3 tablespoons granulated sugar (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the melted butter and brown sugar.
  3. Add the egg, honey, and vanilla extract, then whisk until everything is nicely combined.
  4. Stir in the flour, salt, and ½ teaspoon of ground cinnamon until just combined.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
  6. Mix the granulated sugar with the remaining ½ teaspoon of cinnamon. Sprinkle this mixture evenly over the batter.
  7. Bake for 22–25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  8. Allow to cool completely before cutting into squares.

Notes

For an added twist, consider mixing in chopped nuts or chocolate chips before baking.
