Description

A delicious and filling breakfast casserole packed with sausage, bacon, cheese, and hash browns, perfect for family gatherings or brunch.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound (450g) pork sausage
  • 1 pound (450g) bacon, chopped
  • 4 ounces (113g) cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup (120g) sour cream
  • 4 cups hash browns
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning
  • 6 eggs

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook the sausage and bacon over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. In a large bowl, mix the cream cheese, sour cream, and ranch seasoning until smooth.
  4. Add the cooked sausage and bacon to the cream mixture, then fold in the hash browns and shredded cheddar cheese.
  5. In another bowl, whisk the eggs and then mix them into the casserole mixture.
  6. Transfer the mixture into a greased baking dish and spread evenly.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the casserole is cooked through.
  8. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Use frozen hash browns for convenience; consider adding vegetables for extra flavor.
