- 1 pound (450g) pork sausage
- 1 pound (450g) bacon, chopped
- 4 ounces (113g) cream cheese, softened
- ½ cup (120g) sour cream
- 4 cups hash browns
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 packet ranch seasoning
- 6 eggs
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, cook the sausage and bacon over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
- In a large bowl, mix the cream cheese, sour cream, and ranch seasoning until smooth.
- Add the cooked sausage and bacon to the cream mixture, then fold in the hash browns and shredded cheddar cheese.
- In another bowl, whisk the eggs and then mix them into the casserole mixture.
- Transfer the mixture into a greased baking dish and spread evenly.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the casserole is cooked through.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
Use frozen hash browns for convenience; consider adding vegetables for extra flavor.
