Description
This creamy garlic Parmesan chicken pasta is rich, comforting, and packed with flavor. Juicy chicken, tender pasta, and a luscious Parmesan garlic cream sauce make it the perfect meal for cozy nights, busy weeknights, or special dinners.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 8 oz pasta (fettuccine, penne, or bowties)
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons butter
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Chopped fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the pasta in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
- Sear chicken until golden brown and cooked through, about 5–7 minutes per side. Remove and let rest.
- In the same skillet, sauté minced garlic until fragrant.
- Pour in heavy cream, bring to a gentle simmer, and stir in Parmesan until melted and smooth.
- Slice the rested chicken into strips.
- Add the cooked pasta and sliced chicken into the sauce. Toss to coat well.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and extra Parmesan before serving.
Notes
Use freshly grated Parmesan for the smoothest sauce. Do not let the cream boil hard to avoid curdling. Leftovers can be stored up to 3 days and reheated gently with a splash of milk or cream.
