- 2 pounds chicken thighs or breasts
- 1 cup teriyaki sauce
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon minced ginger
- 2 tablespoons honey (optional)
- 2 cups broccoli florets (optional)
- Cooked rice or noodles for serving
Instructions
- Place the chicken in the crockpot.
- In a bowl, mix teriyaki sauce, minced garlic, minced ginger, and honey (if using).
- Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken in the crockpot.
- If desired, add broccoli florets on top.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours until the chicken is cooked through.
- Shred the chicken in the sauce before serving.
- Serve over cooked rice or noodles.
Notes
For best results, use chicken thighs for more flavor and juiciness. Feel free to adjust the sweetness of the teriyaki sauce by adding more honey.
