Description

Delicious and versatile dumplings filled with ground pork and vegetables, perfect as a snack or main dish.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 300g ground pork
  • 1 cup finely chopped cabbage
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 package gyoza wrappers
  • Oil for frying
  • Dipping sauce (soy sauce, vinegar, and chili oil to taste)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine ground pork, cabbage, green onions, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, and sesame oil. Mix well.
  2. Take a gyoza wrapper and place about 1 teaspoon of the filling in the center. Moisten the edges with water and fold the wrapper, pinching to seal.
  3. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Arrange the gyoza in the pan and fry until the bottoms are golden brown.
  4. Add a splash of water to the pan, cover, and steam for 5 minutes.
  5. Remove the lid and allow to crisp for another minute.
  6. Serve hot with dipping sauce.

Notes

Make sure to seal the dumplings tightly to prevent leakage. You can freeze uncooked dumplings for later use.
