Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, ginger, cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, cream the butter and brown sugar until smooth.
  4. Add the molasses, egg, and vanilla extract; mix well.
  5. Gradually stir the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  6. Scoop dough into balls and roll them in powdered sugar.
  7. Place on a lined baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are set.
