Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, ginger, cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, cream the butter and brown sugar until smooth.
- Add the molasses, egg, and vanilla extract; mix well.
- Gradually stir the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined.
- Scoop dough into balls and roll them in powdered sugar.
- Place on a lined baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are set.
- Allow cookies to cool before enjoying.
