Description

Rich and fudgy brownie cookies that bridge the gap between cookies and brownies, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Get a rimmed baking sheet ready and line it with parchment paper.
  3. In a large bowl, combine melted butter and brown sugar until smooth.
  4. Add in eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in vanilla.
  5. In another bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture.
  6. Fold in chocolate chips.
  7. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto the baking sheet lined with parchment paper, leaving about 2 inches between each.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are set.
  9. Allow to cool slightly before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

Store cooled cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days. They can also be frozen for up to 2 months.
