- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1/4 cup dark brown sugar
- 1/4 cup dark rum, optional

Instructions
- Trim the pineapple: Use a sharp knife to cut off the top and bottom and remove the rind completely.
- Cut into slices: Cut the pineapple into 3/4 to 1-inch spears or rings.
- Marinate: In a large zip-top bag, place the pineapple. Whisk together melted butter, brown sugar, rum (if using), cinnamon, and salt, then add to the bag.
- Coat the pineapple: Gently toss the pineapple to coat, then let it marinate in the fridge for 20-30 minutes.
- Warm the grill: Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium heat (375-400°F).
- Grill the pineapple: Add pineapple, cooking for 4-6 minutes on each side, brushing with leftover marinade.
- Serve and enjoy: Transfer grilled pineapple to a platter and serve immediately.
