Description

A comforting and easy ham frittata perfect for breakfast, dinner, or feeding a crowd.


Ingredients

  • 6 eggs
  • 1 cup diced ham
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup chopped onions
  • 1/2 cup chopped bell peppers
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil or butter for cooking
  • Fresh herbs (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil or butter over medium heat and sauté onions and bell peppers until soft.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and pepper until frothy.
  4. Add the diced ham and shredded cheese to the egg mixture, stirring to combine.
  5. Pour the egg mixture into the skillet over the sautéed vegetables.
  6. Cook on the stovetop for about 5 minutes until the edges begin to set.
  7. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes or until the frittata is fully set and golden on top.
  8. Let it cool slightly before slicing and serving.
