- 1 lb chicken thighs
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 cups cooked brown rice
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 1 carrot, thinly sliced
- Green onions, for garnish
- Sesame seeds, for garnish
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, garlic, ginger, and sesame oil to make the marinade.
- Marinate the chicken thighs in the mixture for at least 30 minutes.
- In a skillet over medium heat, add the chicken and cook until fully cooked and caramelized, about 6-7 minutes per side.
- In a separate pot, steam the broccoli and carrots until tender.
- Serve the sticky chicken over brown rice topped with steamed vegetables, green onions, and sesame seeds.
Notes
For extra flavor, add chili flakes to the marinade. Use fresh vegetables for crunch and color.
