Description

A healthier, delicious alternative to fried chicken tenders, easy to make and customizable.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb chicken breast, cut into strips
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • Cooking spray or oil for baking

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a shallow dish, mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Set up a breading station with three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with the breadcrumb mixture.
  4. Dredge each chicken strip in flour, dip in eggs, and then coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
  5. Place the coated strips on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Lightly spray the strips with cooking spray or oil.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and the coating is golden and crispy, flipping halfway through.
  8. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauces.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the chicken strips in your favorite sauce before breading. Consider using Panko breadcrumbs for a crunchier texture.
