- 1 lb chicken breast, cut into strips
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup flour
- 2 eggs, beaten
- Cooking spray or oil for baking
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a shallow dish, mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Set up a breading station with three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with the breadcrumb mixture.
- Dredge each chicken strip in flour, dip in eggs, and then coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
- Place the coated strips on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Lightly spray the strips with cooking spray or oil.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and the coating is golden and crispy, flipping halfway through.
- Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauces.
Notes
For extra flavor, marinate the chicken strips in your favorite sauce before breading. Consider using Panko breadcrumbs for a crunchier texture.
