Ingredients

- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 2 cups cooked rice (white or brown)
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- Sesame seeds for garnish
- Green onions, sliced for garnish
Instructions
- In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, and minced garlic.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add shrimp to the skillet and cook until pink, about 2-3 minutes per side.
- Pour honey garlic sauce over the shrimp and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly.
- In another pot, steam the broccoli and bell pepper until tender.
- Serve the honey garlic shrimp over cooked rice, topped with steamed vegetables, sesame seeds, and green onions.
Notes
For a spicy kick, add red pepper flakes to the sauce. You can also substitute vegetables for your favorites.
