- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook macaroni according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour, salt, garlic powder, and onion powder; cook for 1-2 minutes.
- Gradually add milk, continuously stirring until the mixture thickens.
- Remove from heat and stir in cheddar and mozzarella until melted and smooth.
- In a bowl, combine cooked macaroni and cheese sauce with diced chicken, honey, and cracked black pepper.
- Pour the mixture into a baking dish and top with additional cheese.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden and bubbly.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
