Description

Delicious and comforting Hot Honey Chicken Biscuits featuring crispy fried chicken on warm, flaky biscuits, drizzled with sweet and spicy hot honey sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1 tsp hot sauce
  • 3 tbsp butter

Instructions

  1. Marinate chicken in buttermilk with salt and pepper for at least 1 hour.
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and a pinch of salt.
  3. Heat oil in a frying pan.
  4. Dredge marinated chicken in the flour mixture and fry until golden brown and cooked through.
  5. For the biscuits, combine flour, baking powder, and salt; cut in butter until crumbly.
  6. Add milk and mix until just combined, then drop the mixture onto a baking sheet.
  7. Bake biscuits at 425°F (220°C) until golden.
  8. For the hot honey sauce, mix honey with a dash of hot sauce.
  9. Serve fried chicken on warm biscuits drizzled with hot honey.

Notes

Use chicken thighs for more moisture and flavor. Let the biscuits rest for a few minutes after baking for better texture. Adjust the amount of hot sauce in the honey to your spice preference.
