Description

Sweet, spicy, and protein-packed – these Hot Honey Ground Beef Bowls are fast, flavorful, and perfect for weeknight dinners or high-protein meal prep.


Ingredients

Scale

1 lb lean ground beef

1 tbsp olive oil

2 garlic cloves, minced

2 tbsp soy sauce

2 tbsp hot honey (or honey + hot sauce)

1 tsp red pepper flakes

2 cups cooked rice or quinoa

Optional toppings: scallions, sesame seeds, roasted chickpeas, cucumber ribbons


Instructions

1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.

2. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon.

3. Stir in garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.

4. Add soy sauce, hot honey, and red pepper flakes. Simmer for 2–3 minutes.

5. Serve over rice or quinoa.

6. Top with scallions, sesame seeds, chickpeas, or other favorite toppings.

Notes

Swap beef for turkey to reduce fat content.

Store leftovers in airtight containers for up to 4 days.

Use cauliflower rice to lower carbs.
