Description

Quick, creamy, and naturally energizing – this iced brown sugar vanilla matcha latte is the ultimate feel-good refreshment with a cozy twist.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 teaspoons ceremonial grade matcha powder
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar (adjust to taste)
  • ½ teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons hot water (not boiling, around 175°F)
  • 1 cup milk of choice (whole milk, oat milk, or almond milk)
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, combine brown sugar and vanilla with 2 tablespoons of water. Warm over low heat until dissolved into a syrup.
  2. In a separate bowl, sift matcha powder to remove clumps.
  3. Add hot water to matcha, then whisk briskly in a “W” motion until frothy.
  4. Fill a tall glass with ice cubes.
  5. Pour in the brown sugar vanilla syrup.
  6. Add milk of your choice over the syrup.
  7. Top with the whisked matcha, letting the green cascade beautifully over the milk.
  8. Stir gently, sip, and enjoy your creamy iced matcha latte!

Notes

For café-style presentation, layer syrup, milk, then matcha. Always sift matcha to avoid clumps and use slightly hot water – never boiling – for the best flavor.
