- 1 tablespoon brown sugar (adjust to taste)

- 2 tablespoons hot water (not boiling, around 175°F)
- 1 cup milk of choice (whole milk, oat milk, or almond milk)
- Ice cubes
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, combine brown sugar and vanilla with 2 tablespoons of water. Warm over low heat until dissolved into a syrup.
- In a separate bowl, sift matcha powder to remove clumps.
- Add hot water to matcha, then whisk briskly in a “W” motion until frothy.
- Fill a tall glass with ice cubes.
- Pour in the brown sugar vanilla syrup.
- Add milk of your choice over the syrup.
- Top with the whisked matcha, letting the green cascade beautifully over the milk.
