Ingredients

  • 1 box of yellow cake mix
  • 1 small box of instant lemon pudding mix
  • ¾ cup of oil
  • ¾ cup of water
  • 4 beaten eggs
  • 2 cups of powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons of melted butter
  • 2 tablespoons of water
  • ⅓ cup of lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, beat the eggs until well combined. Add the yellow cake mix, instant lemon pudding mix, oil, and water; mix until smooth.
  3. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 30 to 35 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  4. While the cake bakes, mix together the powdered sugar, lemon juice, and water in a medium bowl. Stir in the melted butter until smooth.
  5. Once the cake is baked, let it cool slightly, then poke holes all over the cake and pour the lemon glaze over it.
  6. Allow the cake to cool completely before serving.
