- 1 cup almond flour
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Buffalo sauce for serving
- Ranch dressing for serving
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, whisk the eggs until smooth and a little frothy.
- In a separate bowl, mix the almond flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Dip each chicken piece into the egg wash, then coat with the almond flour mixture. Let coated pieces rest for a minute.
- Place the coated chicken nuggets in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
- Serve with buffalo sauce and ranch dressing for dipping.
Notes
Kids can help with dipping and coating; it’s a fun family activity. For thicker crust, dip twice in egg and coat again.
