- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 cups cooked macaroni
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, mix the ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, onion, garlic, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, combine the cooked macaroni, milk, cheddar cheese, and half of the ketchup. Stir until mixed.
- In a greased casserole dish, layer half of the meat mixture, followed by the mac and cheese mixture, then top with the remaining meat mixture.
- Spread the remaining ketchup over the top and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes until the meatloaf is cooked through and the cheese is bubbly.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
For extra flavor, consider adding your favorite spices or herbs to the meat mixture. Use different cheeses for a unique taste.
