Description

Creamy, vibrant, and grounding – this Matcha Iced Matcha is the ultimate afternoon refresher. Earthy matcha whisked into a chilled green latte with a silky finish.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 teaspoon high-quality matcha powder
  • 2 ounces hot water (about 175°F / 80°C)
  • 1 cup milk (dairy or almond, oat, soy)
  • 1–2 teaspoons honey, maple syrup, or sugar (to taste)
  • 1 cup ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Sift the matcha: Use a fine sieve into a small bowl to avoid clumps.
  2. Whisk the matcha: Add hot water and whisk in a zigzag motion until frothy.
  3. Sweeten (optional): Stir in honey, syrup, or sugar.
  4. Fill glass with ice: Add cubes to a tall glass.
  5. Pour in milk: Fill the glass about three-quarters full.
  6. Top with matcha: Slowly pour the whisked matcha over the milk and ice.
  7. Stir and enjoy: Mix gently or leave layered for a pretty presentation.

Notes

Use ceremonial-grade matcha for flavor and vibrant color. Never use boiling water. Whisk in an M motion. Sweeten lightly. Oat milk adds creaminess; vanilla extract adds café-style flair.
