- 4 chicken breasts
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 cup butter
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, marinate the chicken breasts in buttermilk for at least 1 hour.
- In another bowl, mix flour, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and paprika.
- Remove chicken from buttermilk and coat completely in the flour mixture.
- In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
- Brown the chicken breasts on each side for about 3-4 minutes.
- Transfer the chicken to a baking dish and bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes until fully cooked.
- Let rest for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
For more flavor, let the chicken marinate overnight. You can also add herbs like thyme or rosemary to the flour mixture.
