Description

A cozy and satisfying casserole combining tender chicken with creamy ingredients and a crunchy topping, perfect for family dinners or potlucks.


Ingredients

  • 4½ cups chopped cooked chicken
  • 4 oz cream cheese (room temperature)
  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 1 (10.5-oz) can unsalted cream of chicken soup
  • ¼ tsp garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp dried onion powder
  • 1 sleeve Ritz crackers (crushed)
  • 5 Tbsp butter (melted)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350ºF. Lightly spray a 9×9-inch baking dish with cooking spray and set aside.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the chicken, cream cheese, cottage cheese, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, and cream of chicken soup. Mix well.
  3. Spread the chicken mixture into the prepared pan.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine the crushed crackers and melted butter. Sprinkle this mixture over the chicken mixture evenly.
  5. Bake uncovered for 30 to 40 minutes until it is hot and bubbly.

Notes

For added flavor, mix in vegetables like chopped bell peppers or broccoli. Ensure the cream cheese is at room temperature to mix easily.
