Description

A festive and easy layered dessert featuring chocolate cookies, cream cheese, and whipped cream.


Ingredients

  • 1 package (15.35 oz) Oreo cookies (regular or holiday-themed)
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 package (3.4 oz) instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows (optional)
  • 1/2 cup crushed peppermint candies or mini M&Ms (for garnish)
  • Red and green sprinkles (optional)
  • Extra whole Oreos for topping

Instructions

  1. Make the crust: Pulse Oreo cookies in a food processor until finely crushed, then combine with melted butter. Press into a 9×13 dish.
  2. Make the cream layer: Beat cream cheese with powdered sugar until smooth, then whip heavy cream and vanilla until stiff peaks form. Fold whipped cream into cream cheese mixture and spread over crust.
  3. Add the pudding: Whisk instant pudding mix with milk and let sit for 2 minutes to thicken, then spread over cream layer.
  4. Add marshmallows: Sprinkle mini marshmallows over the pudding layer.
  5. Chill until set: Refrigerate for at least 3 hours, ideally overnight.
  6. Garnish and serve: Top with crushed peppermint and whole Oreos. Slice into squares and serve cold.

Notes

Letting the dessert chill will improve the flavor and texture. Allow sliced portions to sit at room temperature for about 10 minutes before serving.
