- 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup Nutella
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to the creamed mixture, mixing until just combined.
- Stir in the chocolate chips.
- To form the cookies, scoop a tablespoon of dough, flatten it, add a teaspoon of Nutella in the middle, fold the dough over, and roll into a ball.
- Place the cookie balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, leaving space between them.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
- Let them cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
Chill the dough briefly if your kitchen is hot. Use a small cookie scoop for consistent sizes.
