- 4 cups peaches, sliced
- 2 cups raspberries
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Ice cream for serving
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Combine sliced peaches and raspberries with half of the sugar in a large bowl. Set aside.
- Mix flour, baking powder, remaining sugar, and salt in another bowl.
- Stir in milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Pour the batter into a greased baking dish.
- Spoon the fruit mixture over the batter.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the fruit is bubbling.
- Serve warm topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
Notes
For best results, use fresh peaches and gently rinse raspberries before use. Reheat leftovers either in the microwave or oven.
