A delightful blend of sweet peaches and tangy raspberries baked in a golden crust, perfect for sharing with family.


Ingredients

  • 4 cups peaches, sliced
  • 2 cups raspberries
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Ice cream for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine sliced peaches and raspberries with half of the sugar in a large bowl. Set aside.
  3. Mix flour, baking powder, remaining sugar, and salt in another bowl.
  4. Stir in milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  5. Pour the batter into a greased baking dish.
  6. Spoon the fruit mixture over the batter.
  7. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the fruit is bubbling.
  8. Serve warm topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

Notes

For best results, use fresh peaches and gently rinse raspberries before use. Reheat leftovers either in the microwave or oven.
