Description
These colorful peep rice crispy treats are a fun twist on a classic! Made with just 3 ingredients, they’re perfect for Easter and springtime fun.
Ingredients
4 cups crispy rice cereal
4 tablespoons unsalted butter
2 packs Peeps (any color)
Instructions
1. Lightly butter a 9×9 baking dish or line with parchment.
2. Melt butter in a nonstick pot over low heat.
3. Add Peeps and stir until fully melted and smooth.
4. Remove from heat and stir in rice cereal until well coated.
5. Press mixture into dish with a buttered spatula.
6. Let cool for 30 minutes, then cut into squares.
Notes
Use different Peep colors for a marbled look.
Do not refrigerate—store at room temperature.
Add pastel sprinkles for decoration.
