Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef or turkey
  • 1 cup chopped onions
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
  • 2 cups cooked pasta (your choice)
  • 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the meat: In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef or turkey until browned, about 7-10 minutes. Remember to drain excess fat.
  2. Add the onions and garlic: Stir in the onions and garlic, cooking until the onions soften, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Mix in the vegetables: Add in the frozen mixed vegetables and stir for another 2-3 minutes to heat through.
  4. Pour in the diced tomatoes and stir in your cooked pasta. Mix everything together for 5 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.
  5. Top with cheese: Sprinkle the cheese over the top, cover, and let it melt for about 3-5 minutes.
  6. Serve and enjoy: Once the cheese is melted and bubbly, it’s time to serve!
