- 1/2 (13 oz) box of mashed potatoes (plus butter, milk, and salt as directed on the box)
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 (12 oz) bag frozen mixed veggies (like peas and carrots)
- 1 (10.75 oz) can tomato soup
- 1 (1.5 oz) packet of beef stew seasoning mix
- 1/2 cup water
- 1–2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400° F.
- Prepare the mashed potatoes according to the package directions (about 10-15 minutes).
- Brown the ground beef in a large skillet on medium heat, then drain excess grease.
- Stir in the tomato soup, frozen mixed veggies, beef stew seasoning, and water; simmer for 5-10 minutes.
- Spread the beef mixture in a greased 9×13 baking dish.
- Evenly spread the prepared mashed potatoes over the beef mixture.
- Sprinkle cheese on top.
- Bake uncovered for about 30 minutes or until the cheese is golden and bubbly.
