Fun, chewy, and colorful rice krispie treat recipe Easter-style that’s perfect for brunch, baskets, or snacks.
Ingredients
6 cups rice krispies cereal
4 tbsp unsalted butter
1 bag (10 oz) mini marshmallows
1/2 cup pastel M&M’s (optional)
1/4 cup sprinkles (optional)
White chocolate drizzle (optional)
Instructions
1. Grease a 9×13 baking dish or line with parchment.
2. Melt butter in a large pot over medium-low heat.
3. Add marshmallows and stir until completely melted.
4. Remove from heat, stir in cereal until fully coated.
5. Mix in M&Ms or sprinkles if desired.
6. Press mixture into pan, decorate immediately.
7. Let set for 30 mins, cut into squares or use cookie cutters.
Notes
Avoid overcooking the marshmallows to keep treats soft.
Add decorations before the mixture cools for better sticking.
Store at room temperature up to 4 days.
