Description

A heartwarming Roast Leg of Lamb recipe that brings the family together with its tender meat and aromatic herbs.


Ingredients

  • 1 leg of lamb
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup chicken broth (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Mix together minced garlic, olive oil, rosemary, thyme, salt, and pepper in a small bowl.
  3. Rub the garlic mixture all over the leg of lamb.
  4. Place the lamb in a roasting pan and pour chicken broth around it if using.
  5. Roast the lamb in the preheated oven for about 90 to 120 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches your desired doneness.
  6. Let it rest for 15 minutes before carving and serving.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for 3-4 days or frozen for longer shelf life. Reheat in the oven for best results.
