- 8 oz Cream Cheese (softened; goat cheese can be used)
- 1 cup Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese (mozzarella can be used)
- 2 medium Sliced Jalapenos (fresh or pickled)
- 1 tsp Garlic Powder (or fresh minced garlic)
- 1 large Egg (for egg wash, or milk for vegan option)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out puff pastry on a clean surface or stretch pizza dough.
- In a bowl, mix cream cheese, cheddar cheese, jalapenos, and garlic powder.
- Spread the cheesy mixture evenly over the pastry or dough.
- Cut the pastry into strips about 1 inch wide.
- Twist each strip a few times and place them on a lined baking sheet.
- Brush the tops with beaten egg (or milk).
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and puffed.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Serve warm with ranch or blue cheese dressing. Can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
