- 4 chicken breasts
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt to taste
- 2 cups macaroni
- 2 cups cheese (cheddar or your choice)
- 2 cups milk
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Mix honey, soy sauce, olive oil, black pepper, garlic powder, and salt in a bowl.
- Coat the chicken breasts in the marinade and place them in a baking dish.
- Bake the chicken for 25-30 minutes or until fully cooked.
- Meanwhile, cook the macaroni according to package instructions.
- Melt the butter in a saucepan, add milk, and bring to a simmer.
- Stir in cheese until melted.
- Combine the cooked macaroni with the cheese sauce.
- Once the chicken is done, serve it alongside the macaroni and cheese.
- Optionally, sprinkle breadcrumbs on the macaroni for added crunch.
Notes
Marinate the chicken the night before to save time. Feel free to modify pasta type or cheese for different flavors.
