Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 cups macaroni
  • 2 cups cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Mix honey, soy sauce, olive oil, black pepper, garlic powder, and salt in a bowl.
  3. Coat the chicken breasts in the marinade and place them in a baking dish.
  4. Bake the chicken for 25-30 minutes or until fully cooked.
  5. Meanwhile, cook the macaroni according to package instructions.
  6. Melt the butter in a saucepan, add milk, and bring to a simmer.
  7. Stir in cheese until melted.
  8. Combine the cooked macaroni with the cheese sauce.
  9. Once the chicken is done, serve it alongside the macaroni and cheese.
  10. Optionally, sprinkle breadcrumbs on the macaroni for added crunch.
