- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup crushed peppermint candies
Instructions
- In a large bowl, beat the softened butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- In another bowl, mix the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture until well combined.
- Fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips, white chocolate chips, and crushed peppermint candies.
- Cover the dough with plastic wrap and chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Scoop tablespoons of dough onto ungreased baking sheets.
- Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden. Remove from oven and let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
For extra peppermint flavor, consider adding peppermint extract. Store cookies in an airtight container for up to one week.
