Ingredients

- 1 lb fresh crab meat
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 egg
- 2 green onions, finely chopped
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Oil for frying or baking
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the crab meat, breadcrumbs, mayonnaise, egg, green onions, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
- Mix gently until all ingredients are well combined.
- Form the mixture into patties.
- To fry, heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side until they are golden brown.
- If you prefer baking, preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and place the patties on a baking sheet for 20-25 minutes until they turn golden.
- Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
Feel free to add fresh herbs, lemon zest, or old bay seasoning for extra flavor.
